About The Sleep Club

I’ve always loved sleep. When I was little, my mum and dad would marvel at my long lie-ins. They were baffled by my affection for my duvet. They’re both “wake up and get up” people, who know nothing of multiple snoozes, or afternoon naps, or falling asleep on the beach.

These are simple pleasures. But, as life’s become busier and it gets harder to leave work and find some peace and quiet, sleep has taken on an even greater value.

I don’t always find falling asleep easy - there’s nothing worse than a sleepless night - but when I do drop off at the end of a hard day... Total bliss.

Since starting The Sleep Club, I’ve been talking to people more about sleep and realised just how obsessed other people are with sleep - even more than I am!

I’m not an expert in sleep - beyond the fact that I do it every day and I think about sleep quite a lot.

I know that for many people sleep doesn’t come easy, but aside from layman’s advice from other Sleep Club members, this isn’t going to be the place to get medical advice on sleep-related issues.

Here at The Sleep Club, you can discuss dreams, read original bedtime stories and find out where to get the best pyjamas.

If you want medical facts and solid advice - we recommend the following sites:

The aims of The Sleep Club
